Freshmen English majors at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law recently transformed their Oral English class into a digital showcase during a special “Media Week.” Students demonstrated the practical intersection of language and media by creating and presenting vlogs on diverse topics.
The week-long event featured projects ranging from documentaries on campus life to tutorials for cooking favourite dishes. Others served as travel guides, sharing tips for exploring China’s scenic destinations. This initiative moved language practice beyond traditional textbooks, placing it in a contemporary, real-world context.
