Teachers and students from the School of International Education at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL) achieved outstanding results at the 7th Hubei Provincial Chinese Classics Recitation, Explanation, and Writing Competition, demonstrating profound understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese culture.

In the''Poetry Education China"poetry explanation category, Mongolian undergraduate student Jambaldorj Bujinlkham, known by her Chinese name Cai Wen, earned a first prize at the provincial level. With guidance from instructor Li Muzi, she delivered a presentation titled ''Fireworks Carry Dreams, a Lone Sail Bears Emotion"analyzing the Tang dynasty poem ''Seeing Meng Haoran off at Yellow Crane Tower"by Li Bai. Cai Wen explored the imagery and emotional depth of the poem, capturing the sincere friendship expressed by the poet.

In the''Recitation China"classic recitation category, two group performances by international students received third prizes. The first piece, a modern poem titled ''The Chinese Language"was performed by an ensemble including Chilla Mokom Romeo (Cameroon), Cai Wen (Mongolia), Kononova Elizaveta (Russia), and Nnabuike Sunday Chisom (Nigeria). Their heartfelt recitation expressed admiration and love for the Chinese language. Another recitation, a rendition of Zhu Ziqing's classic prose ''In a Hurry"was delivered by Naana Nhyira Bimpong-Donkor (Ghana), who movingly conveyed the writer's reflections on the passage of time.

Additionally, in the ''Brush and Ink China"Chinese character writing contest, lecturer Cai Miao received a third prize in the chalk writing category for her work ''Song of the Fisherman"showcasing exceptional skill in traditional calligraphy.
The Chinese Classics Competition, organized by the Ministry of Education, aims to promote and preserve the richness of Chinese language and culture. Through themes such as ''Illuminating China and Continuing Cultural Heritage", the event supports national goals in education and cultural development. International Education School continues to encourage participation in such contests, using competitions as a platform to enhance learning, teaching, and multicultural exchange.
